Miss me?

Ha, not sure there is anyone miss me here. I've been gone for sometime. I've been working on a web builder called Pagejoint (It's still in beta at the moment). As we set our vision for it to be revolutionary, it really left with no time for me to work on my painting you see. Learning business skills, client management, understanding different perspective from people and reading news are things builded into my new agenda. I'm grateful for my business partner and family constant support in growing me with better business sense.

Guess what? It's December.

December means there are two extra exiting epic festival Malaysian Youth Celebrate-
Xmas and Comic Fiesta!

Comic Fiesta this year work smart n hard and get all the big shot onto the stage:       

• 1. Shimokawa Mikuni is coming to Malaysia singing
• 2. Makoto Shinkai Chase Lost Voices feature film Primer.
• 3. My booth Tornado Village (;A; noob pride wuhahah)
• 4. Held under few of the tallest building in South East Asia - KLCC.
• 5. All the regular fun(s) are still going to be there: Art Communities, Cosplay, Stage Drama, Contest n Competitions and moar!

Joy to The World

Xmas is coming.  It's snowing everywhere in my bathtub last night, what a phenomena...that signal the beginning of the winter. It's time to wake up Santa. I won't be around then as I planned a trip with my friends. So this is a heads up for Xmas Journal (-__-;;; say who always update so little on Deviantart?)

Knowing Christmas is just few weeks away makes me want to sing. Nostalgic feeling inside me is making everything with red and green (plus a bit of foam on top) especially fantasy. I know who responsible to my Xmas delusional disorder... Rewind the time back around 18 years: One very special day before Xmas, my aunt place a fluffy red sock up on the wall right in front of where I sleep. That time I was really sick. I remember I trying making something fun out small patch of Lego toy on the ground, coughing. My aunt kiss me on the cheek, telling me stories that I all forgot right now. Then Mom comes in switch the light off... Then the next day I woke with a song playing next door "Joy to the World... The Lord has.." and see my sock gone from the wall! *Astonish* a second later, realize it doped to the ground. Because one of the Newton Law called gravity. Of course I did not think of that then. the next thing I know is that the sock is full with present! Who would have done it? Parent or my Aunt? Use my heart to feel, I resolve to believing in one truth: OMG...Santa Clause is REAL 8D!

Then after a few year, I found out my Aunt was the Santa. Disappointed, but sweet.  Didn't know this nostalgia can last so long....that I feel blessed and love every Christmas I had.

So the moral of the lesson is: trick your children nicely. They will remember it for lifetime.

Autumn come silently to my home town. It has no significance in the weather changes. Green is still king here in the jungle far far away from my town. Only a scent of rain is eminent in the air I can smell. Thunder storming in the Grey sky far above the bungalow. Yellow and Red is like an infection, contagious, passing from the forest far above southern China down to Malaysia. Warmth color like an ink splash, paint the country side into Yellow - Taoist Festival is everywhere.

You know it's October.

Nothing much would happen at October, my instinct tell me. Other than lotz of hard work and some batminton training with my friend, I would like you to like my Facebook page called Project Apocalypse:

Just the name is bombastic, that differ its meaning from the concept:
As no one know what will happen at 21 Dec 2012. LET JUST LIVE IT AS IF THE LAST YEAR OF YOUR LIFE.

It would be fun if we go all out and just live a year... You don't know what could be achieve if you never try.

Have you ever have a feeling, that, every time after you travel to the outside world and back, you feel calm and peace. It's like a naughty fairytale character, Alice for example, fight the dragon and crawl her way out of the tree hole and see the familiar world before her. It's just the same old place in the reality, but something has change.

Of course, neither did I fight the dragon like the crazy lady, nor did I have a cracked head rabbit as my friend. I went to China instead. I stayed there for two month. Visiting my aunt who treat her cancer at the hospital few minutes away from the World Expo, visiting world expo (-__-;;; not going to talk about the exp over there...), visiting exhibition as well as comic convention over there, wandering in Hang Zhou for 5 days, all of these proved China is a great place to visit before year 2012.

China has improves so much, in terms of technology and quality of life; I have improved as well... in terms of bargaining, understanding deeper into their culture, and some cheat detection (thou my instinct come a bit slow, some money has gone to black charity.) Life is fun there, and much more dramatic in the life I have in Malaysia. Not everyday lovey-lavi stuff, but some true adventure like: Inexperience beggar kid (I believe) want to get some extra income in the MRT train start begging people by bowing down and knock their head to the ground, at the same time her friend was laughing at her. So some people give in... I give her the food I couldn't finish instead. She was embarrassed skipped the remaining people in the chamber and go to the next MRT train chamber and continue the ritual -___-;;;

My brother have a better one on train: He carried an assignment down to Tian Jing. So he have to take the train down from Shang Hai to Tian Jing. But as he couldn't book the ticket with a sit, he only get a standing ticket. He didn't know it was a ticket to hell until... when he get on the train. The density of the train is crazy. He found himself cough between arm pits and hairy legs (yes, I exaggerate a bit, but it is true that passenger inside actually are standing and sticking with each other.) As he start to worry the oxygen might used up in the chamber... some people(which means 20+ people) inside the chamber start smoking. Hell, he couldn't even relax a bit. Then some people start casting cigarette butt away. Along with the burning cigarette butt magic casting, my brother have to avoid mucus too with some anticipation of some coughing voice. Well, it wasn't a great trip. But is a valuable experience he says. haha.

Well, everyone likes evil story. That's why I have to put it in this way. There are some civilized and moral culture I have seen in China. I have some seen some touching incident when an aunty at the Metro station give her sit to an old lady, but the old lady ask a man with a baby to sit. The man refuse at first, until the train earthquake shake his feet off the ground, then he took it. Small thing like this, people usually finds it boring. But I think it is really a touching sight to see. It is how human race could survive until today, simply by the ability of care.

This is all some story to talk about in the future. Together with competing with my awesome brother: Fish and Muhi for all the idiots game on the train, this Metro station itself already have a good memory for my trip to China.

Post Graduation Life
After we canceled our deadline for Final Project short film, I finally feel the burden on my shoulder lightened. As a leader, I'm now at least can have a reason go out and look for a job. It has been tiresome leading the team. I really do have reason for my emotional explosion some times. Don't ask me why, I don't like talking stuff behind. I guess, for people like me, people would never understand what really been through for him. sigh*

Anyways, life gets significantly easier after then. I rushed out 7 drawings in a week and started my daily comic. Go to job interviews, preparing my portfolio and touching up my works. Until, I get sick....

But this sickness gave me sometime to fix some of the corrupted program in my computer. It's not all bad.

How to Train Your Dragon
rewatch this movie again. Re-realizing how much I love it. A good story just make a big difference in everything.
